Noah Lyles of the United States won the men's 100m gold at the World Athletics Championships 2023 in Budapest in the early hours of Monday morning. Lyles, who already has two world 200m titles to his name, clocked 9.83sec for the victory. QUEENSLANDER
The Queensland Maroons have given the New South Wales Blues a lesson in rugby league defence, easily winning Game 2 of the 2023 State of Origin Series which also wins Queensland the Series.
The website results for the event have been updated, with Game 3 now just a dead rubber from a USP results perspective. That said, the Maroons will be looking for a Series whitewash while the Blues will be looking to earn back some respect.
Champions of Everywhere
Manchester City beat Inter Milan to win the UEFA Champions League for the first time in their history and complete an iconic treble.
Pep Guardiola's men triumphed 1-0 at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, with Rodri's second-half thunderbolt proving the difference.

Super Kings of India
Chennai Super Kings beat Gujarat Titans by five wickets to claim the 2023 Indian Premier League Fina at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad to lift a fifth IPL Trophy.

All Conquering Koepka
Brooks Koepka has won the 2023 US PGA Championship by two strokes. Remarkably, not one punter selected the former number 1 golfer in USP23. Brooks held out the fast finishing Scottie Scheffler who finished with a final round of 65, which saw 15 punters awarded 3 points.
Viktor Hovland tied for second position - no punters selected Hovland either. Cam Davis was the best of the Aussies, tied for 4th place.
One punter received maximum points for the event, wisely using their Wildcard.
The next Golf Major is in three weeks when the US Open begins on 15 June 2023.
